The third rendition of our “Melancholia &...” series of beers in which we thoughtfully blend Melancholia, our fresh hoppy spelt & rye Saison w/ something special from our wild barrel cellar. This rendition is a fresh batch of Melancholia fermented in stainless on third-use raspberries from @agriberryfarm. Those raspberries were originally used to create Culminate Raspberry, our Framboise-style Lambic-inspired beer. Once that batch finished up we blended in a portion of mature wine barrel fermented mixed-fermentation Honey Farmhouse Ale that was brewed in 2018. Melancholia & Confusion is smooth, balanced, and refreshing w/notes of raspberry, peach, lime zest, apricot, oak & kumquat. Extensively bottle-conditioned & ready to drink.
